Ex-legal writer at Mint covering India’s Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, and tribunals. Associate Fellow at Vidhi, studyingimplementation of the NDPS Act in Punjab. LL.B. (Hons.) from NLU Delhi (2014), LL.M. from Panjab University (2018) with a dissertation on animal rights and religion. Scholarship recipient at the University of Antwerp Animal LawSummer School (2023). Research collaborator with Harvard Law School’s Animal Law & Policy Program, focusing on animal trade and zoonotic diseases. Apoorva’s interests span animal law, governance, environmental law, and constitutional law—anchoring her vision for a more compassionate and just India.
